Head of People

Our client is a fast growing regional fintech player building an innovative consumer and SMB financial platform. They have raised a significant amount of funding from top tier investors to fuel their expansion and looking to hire Head of People.

They are looking for an excellent Head of People to join them on their journey to empower residents of the Middle East by providing them with the first customer-centric digital wallet.

You are passionate about scaling the world-class team and culture they have assembled. You’ll join the fast-paced team and will be hands-on in all areas of people. Their values are a direct result of the phenomenal team they work with, as they scale the team they are looking to institutionalize these values through people operations, culture, and human resources.  You’ll be instrumental in sharing valuable people-related areas: talent management, coaching, compensation, performance management, employee relations, and more.

 

As a Head of People you will:

  • Champion is a culture in which people feel engaged and inspired to provide top
    business results.
  • Build operational infrastructure to scale their human resource operations including compensation calculation, seniority tiering methodology, interview structures, etc.
  • Work with departments to build a talent acquisition strategy, partnering closely with the Founders.
  • Work with the CEO to establish frameworks across headcount, attrition, and hiring goals.
  • Create a thoughtful, clear metrics-driven approach that tracks, monitors, and evaluates the impact and effectiveness of all programs.
  • Think creatively and bring an innovation framework to talent acquisition
  • Ask questions, try new things, and constantly learn and improve.
  • Maintain a sky-high bar for all the produced work.

 

Key skills and characteristics

  • Experience leading and empowering medium-scale talent organizations (30-100)
    with an emphasis on building high-performing teams and inclusive cultures
  • A passion for people development and a track record of coaching and motivating high-performing teams
  • Experience building recruiting infrastructure, including processes and tools
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making that leads to increased operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • You have high integrity and a team-first mentality.
  • You take initiative and have a bias towards action.
  • You’re tenacious with a strong work ethic.
  • You have a growth mindset.
